AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID
Tridon ATF-VI
Tridon ATF VI is formulated with synthetic base oils and an additive package suitably balanced in order to give the product the properties required by Dexron VI.
This Product guarantees:
- Exceptional low temperature performance.
- Improved thermal and oxidation stability.
- Excellent frictional properties that provides smooth gear shifting at low temperature and help to prevent transmission vibration.
- Exceptional resistance to the formation of sludge and deposits.
- Prolonged life of the fluid.
- The product Tridon ATF VI is recommended as hydraulic fluid for modern automatic transmissions. The high technology used enables longer transmission life.
- This lubricant has been developed to meet the needs of modern transmission where high efficiency is required.it is a low viscosity formulation that meets the more demanded OEM specification.
- Very good foaming control.
- Excellent parts material compatibility.
- Outstanding film-strength and anti-wear properties which provides a perfect lubrication all over time and protection of the transmission.
- Excellent viscosity stability in operation.
Caution: Do not overfill automatic transmissions as this may cause foaming and possible malfunction of the unit. Failure to use specific manufacturer's recommendations with regard to transmission fluid could void the vehicle warranty.
Tridon ATF-III
Tridon ATF-III is a superior quality semi - synthetic automatic transmission fluid which is formulated to meet the latest requirements of General Motor DEXRON-III, Allison C-4, the earlier M2C 185-A and the current Ford MERCON specification.
It has excellent corrosion and rust preventive properties and rigid anti-foam characteristics. It will not cause excessive seal swell or shrinkage, nor will it cause seals to excessively harden or soften. Its excellent oxidation stability keeps the transmission parts virtually clean.
Tridon ATF-III is designed to meet the low temperature viscosity requirement of DEXRON-III and MERCON and will give trouble-free operation especially in cold weather.
Tridon ATF-III carries the following approvals:
- Allison C-4 C4-19761994
- Ford MERCON M 940905
- GM DEXRON-IIIF 30324
Because automobile automatic transmissions are usually operated through wide temperature ranges without fluid changes, a high quality product should be used. Because "in gear" idling can quickly generate high temperatures, the fluid must combat oxidation.
Ideally, automatic transmission fluids should provide near perfect control of rubber swelling, an important requirement for proper seal performance.
In addition to General Motors and Ford vehicles Tridon ATF-III is also recommended for the automatic transmissions of vehicles and construction plant built by other European, Japanese and other U.S. Manufacturers.
Tridon ATF-III offers:
- Excellent oxidation stability, as measured in the General Motors 4L60 and Ford ABOT tests resulting in cleaner transmission and more reliable operation.
- Stable friction properties as demonstrated in the MERCON® 1500-cycle friction durability test and DEXRON‑III 20,000-cycle cycling test and friction durability tests.
- Excellent low temperature fluidity, meeting DEXRON-III and MERCON® viscosity requirements of maximum 20,000 cP at -40ºC.
- Compatibility with a wide range of Elastomers and metals, providing protection against leakage and wear.
Caution: Do not overfill automatic transmissions as this may cause foaming and possible malfunction of the unit. Failure to use specific manufacturer's recommendations with regard to transmission fluid could void the vehicle warranty.
Tridon ATF-II
Tridon ATF-II is a superior product for use in automatic transmissions, power steering units and certain manual transmissions and is recommended wherever a DEXRON II Automatic Transmission Fluid is specified. It provides optimum fluidity at temperatures down to -40°C and adequate viscosity for bearings and gear lubrication at temperatures exceeding 160ºC.
It has excellent corrosion and rust preventive properties and rigid anti-foam characteristics. It will not cause excessive seal swell or shrinkage, nor will it cause seals to excessively harden or soften.
Because of its strong resistance to oxidation, Tridon ATF-II will reduce the formation of varnish and gum on valves, valve bodies, governors, oil screens, or other transmission parts, even under high temperature operation.
Tridon ATF-II minimizes the formation of sludge in transmission oil pans or oil coolers. It promotes smooth gear changes under hostile operating conditions and prevents transmission squawk. It has no objectionable odor and its red color allows easy detection of leaks.
Tridon ATF-II is recommended for the automatic transmissions of vehicles and construction plant built by European, Japanese and US manufacturers.
Tridon ATF-II is also recommended for service fill use in Ford automatic transmission units where a fluid meeting their M2C 9010A and M2C185A specification is required. It also meets the requirements of Allison C-3 for the transmissions of off-highway construction plant etc.
Failure to adhere to specific manufacturers' recommendations with regard to transmission fluid could void the vehicle's warranty. Tridon ATF-II is fully compatible with competitors' DEXRON II fluids.
Caution: Do not overfill automatic transmissions as this may cause foaming and possible malfunction of the unit.
Tridon ATF-II offers:
- Superior oxidation resistance
- Smooth gear changing
- Compatibility with competitors' products
- Suitability in a wide range of applications
